Express Delivery – Customer Service Guide

Coverage: Selected locations within Dubai only
Express Shipping Fee: AED 5


What is Express Delivery?

Customers selecting Express Delivery with an additional fee of AED 5 can receive their order faster than standard delivery:

  • Same-Day Delivery: For orders placed between 12:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Next-Day Delivery: For orders placed between 11:01 AM – 11:59 PM

Note: Express Delivery is currently available only in selected areas within Dubai. They can see at check out if their location is eligible for Express Delivery. 



Important Notes for CS Team

  • Always verify order status in Clickpost before responding.

  • Express Delivery fee is AED 5 only.

  • Available in selected Dubai locations.

  • Refund or OCN for Express Delivery applies only if there were no delivery attempts.

  • Service windows: Same-day (12:00 AM – 11:00 AM) and Next-day (11:01 AM – 11:59 PM).

Customer Scenarios and CS Spiels

1. Customer Inquires About Express Delivery Options

CSA Response Example:
"You can select Express Delivery at checkout for an additional AED 5. Orders placed between 12:00 AM and 11:00 AM will be delivered on the same day, and orders placed between 11:01 AM and 11:59 PM will be delivered the next day. Currently, Express Delivery is available for selected locations in Dubai only."


2. Customer Claims the Order Has Not Arrived on Time

Steps for CSA:

  1. Check Clickpost for the order tracking status.

  2. Verify if there were delivery attempts and note the status.

  3. Communicate clearly to the customer based on tracking information.

Example Response:
"I’ve checked your order status in our system. According to Clickpost, there have been [X] delivery attempts. Your order is currently [status]."

If the customer claims there were no delivery attempts:

  • Action: Issue the Express Shipping Fee (AED 5) as an OCN to compensate for the missed attempt. Then raise a ticket to LMT UAE asking for Proof of delivery attempt. Ensure the ticket is created to validate if there were any attempts/reason for the non-delivery

  • Example Response:
    "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Since there were no delivery attempts recorded, we have issued the AED 5 Express Delivery fee back to you as a goodwill gesture."


3. Customer Asks About Locations Where Express Delivery is Available

CSA Response Example:


"Currently, Express Delivery is available in selected areas of Dubai only. Once you choose the address to which you are placing the order, if the area has Express Delivery, you will get the option to select it during your check out. At Check out, the option will be available if the area is serviceable for Express Delivery" 


4. Customer Asks About How Express Delivery Works

CSA Response Example:
"Express Delivery ensures faster shipping for your convenience. Orders placed early in the day (12:00 AM – 11:00 AM) are delivered the same day, and orders placed later (11:01 AM – 11:59 PM) are delivered the next day. There is an additional AED 5 fee for this service."


5. Customer Requests Refund for Express Delivery

CSA Response Example:


"The Express Delivery fee of AED 5 is only refundable if there were no delivery attempts recorded for your order. I can check the tracking status and process the AED 5 refund if applicable."


6. Customer Wants to Upgrade to Express Delivery After Placing Order

CSA Response Example:


"Once an order is placed, we cannot upgrade it to Express Delivery. Please select Express Delivery during checkout for future orders to ensure faster delivery."


7. Customer Asks About Delays

CSA Response Example:


"I understand your concern. According to our system, your order is in status [current status]. Express Delivery aims to meet the stated timeframes, but delays may occasionally happen due to unforeseen circumstances. We are really sorry for any delays occured due to such unforeseen situations"
